Locally owned restaurant on Argentine Street with small and large plates centered on wild game and elevated comfort food, Colorado craft beer, and a deck over Clear Creek. Closed Wednesday.
Cooper’s on the Creek, owned by Ryan and Amanda Cooper, mixes pub dishes with chef-driven plates: a Cooper Burger with house-made pickles and a choice of cheese, duck poutine, salads and an Angus ribeye. A deck overlooks Clear Creek, and there is a fireplace inside for colder evenings. The restaurant calls itself kid-friendly and takes online reservations.
It is open Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 am to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday to 9 pm, and closed Wednesday. The site’s footer leaves Sunday out, so call ahead (303-569-5088) before a Sunday visit.
